Normally I dont have to think twice about getting to work on snowy days, but a number of co-workers and I had some real issues getting here.
A significant portions of the roads weren't even touched (my road didn't even have tracks in it yet - apparently no one thought they could get out). Add to that you've got people who dont know how to drive in the snow making problems for everyone else (don't slow to a 1 mph crawl!!). Getting rolling again after waiting at a red light was a problem for most of us.
We just watched from my office window an 18 wheeler try to make a left hand turn - he was stuck for about 15 minutes until he just backed up a couple hundred yards and got a run-and-go.
You'll shoot your eye out.

2-4 inches generally fell across most of the area according to the NWS reports. Good call overall..
Next one...(small change in track would greatly impact totals)..
